The Calm before the Storm

Yes! Yeeess! YES! I did it! I finally finished this image! Some people might still remember it (the previews); I drew the outlines back in 2009 for the May London MCM Expo... and I wanted to finish it off this time before my birthday this coming week. Good grief. Two years. =_= It took me two years...
I worked on and off on this picture with veeeery long breaks in between. Usually I have an idea for the whole image once I start drawing, but with this it was more like "alright, let's do the characters first" and "now I need to think of a background". XD~

These two girls are my necromancers Mathylda (on the left) and Federica (on the right side). Yep, they are sisters.
The image title really does refer to what will happen in a few moments... and it'll change Mathylda's character for good...
